THE PERSON BEHIND
THE SELECTION.
Before the shop, there was a diary. After Thailand, a certainty: only what is natural, traditional and effective makes it into the selection.
SIN TRA · THE EARLY YEARSI WAS BORN AT SEVEN MONTHS,
ON A RAINY WEDNESDAY.
I was born at seven months on a rainy Wednesday, under a moon growing in the sky. By chance I have always talked to it, as if it were an unconditional friend. I grew up in a village called Sintra, and the image that best defines those early years is me on my father's shoulders, walking through the bucolic village that was green on every side.
I have always tried to give feelings and sensations a shape. When I learned to write, I began to record my days in a diary; over the years I ended up gathering thirteen written books. I have always loved wandering through words — eloquent is the one who speaks, but inside me there is a Self that speaks constantly.
FROM THE DIARY TO THE BLOG.
FROM THE BLOG TO THE SHOP.
I love cycling, walking in the bush, photography, crafts, swapping night for day, animals — and I cannot live without them. I believe in a better world and I truly believe we can make changes. I hold a positive outlook and believe we create what we think about.
I studied Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations. I started with a vocational course equivalent to year 12 and then went on to university in the same field. I worked several times in my area of study, but I quickly felt unsatisfied — as students we seem to be in a mass-production factory, filling unstimulating jobs, reductive and empty of substance.
That is when, in a very natural and organic way, I realised that my blog allowed me to be a complete Marketing professional: I could create my own brand, design a logo, think about a visual identity and write about the topics I loved most. And since June 2011 the Neuza Mariano blog has been growing, has earned its identity and taken on a leading role in my life.

BONS INGREDIENTES.
RECEITAS ANTIGAS.
Tradição reconhecida, ingrediente a ingrediente.
